Offered Job : Large Alabama based industrial metal building company requires CAD DrafterTechnicians. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well established company and advance in the field of CAD. The position will require the
incumbent to provide computer generated erection drawings, shop drawings
and bills of material compatible to each building. Verify that computer
generated drawings, details and tallies comply with engineering design and
with the customer’s purchase order. Determine which views and details of
a project are required to describe the fabrication and erection of the
parts detailed, and preparation of the tallies for use by manufacturing in
gathering and fabricating the parts required to complete the order.
Experience of metal building systems and working directly with a design
Civil Engineer are essential, also a solid comprehension of mathematics is
a must. Knowledge of plane and spatial geometry and linear logic are also
required. The company is offering a competitive compensation package,
