Plans, schedules, and arranges own activities under general direction and provides work statement instructions to others. Assignments are reviewed upon completion for adequacy in meeting objectives. Contact: Frequently coordinates design criteria and process development requirements with inter-organizational contacts, such as engineering, manufacturing, tooling, material, and planning groups; and outside customers and suppliers.
