As an experienced Designer, the focus of your role will be to manage key components of the design and planning function of multiple and complex pre-construction projects to ensure services meet all objectives. You will be involved in a number of varied projects including Rural and Urban projects, also varying in size, budget and location. Examples of recent projects include Linkfield Connection Rd, Cleveland Redland Bay Rd and Moggill Rd.
Your expertise in planning and design will be utilized in this role, with a focus on your professional development within the organisation.
By using your Engineering Qualifications, technical knowledge and expertise, you will be responsible for the following:
- Providing advise on the planning and design for complex road infrastructure projects
- The delivery of the Road Implementation Program (RIP)
- 3D Modelling using 12D and/or MX
- The production of drawings using AutoCAD
- The production of documents for contracts and tendering
- The production of Quality Assurance forms
- Property Enquires
To be considered for this position you must have:
- 5 years planning and design experience (Roads experience is preferable)
- 3D modelling experience using 12D and/or MX
- AutoCAD experience
- A Bachelor of Technology (Civil), Associate Degree in Civil Engineering or acceptable equivalent from a recognised tertiary institution.

The total remuneration for this T04 level role ranges from $76,000 – $80,800 per annum, including infrastructure program loading. Main Roads provide excellent benefits including flexible work hours, study assistance, and salary packaging options.
